CHILD CARE ASSISTANT
Yeoval Pre School Inc.
Applications are invited for the position of
Child Care Assistant at Yeoval Pre School.
This is a permanent part-time position
consisting of two days per week (Wednesdays
and Thursdays), from 8:00am to 3:30pm
during each school term. Yeoval Pre School
currently operates for two days per week
(Wednesdays and Thursdays), with the
possibility of operating an additional half
day (Friday mornings) in the future. The
Child Care Assistant\'s hours may therefore
be extended in the future to include Friday
mornings.
This position is to assist the Director with
the efficient running of the Pre School,
including planning and preparation of the
Pre School program and to assist in the
supervision of the pre school students (to a
maximum of 16 children each day).
The successful applicant must have the
ability to work with children (3 - 5 years),
good communication skills, the ability and
willingness to be a team player and work
with a Management Committee. The
successful applicant must also have a
current First Aid Certificate, or be willing to
obtain one.
Remuneration and conditions of employment
for this position will be as per the relevant
award and will start at the commencement
of Term 2, 2010. Prohibited persons are not
permitted to apply. Employment is subject
to approval by the Department of Community
Services, including a working with children
and criminal record check.
