Mine Planning Engineer

  • Up to a $210,000 Package
  • Stable and Progressive Company
  • Northern Territory Location - Residential

A leading resource giant requires a talented Mine Planning Engineer to join their Northern operation. Your professionalism, enthusiasm and operating transparency will be an advantage as you will be ear marked to become Superintendent within two to three years.
 
In this role you will be primarily responsible for planning and designing work for the operations, coordinating daily mine planning activities whilst mentoring and coaching others within the group. Leading an indirect team of 65 your communication across the board and being able to achieve high performance standards is essential.
 
Your key skills and competencies will include:

  • Engineering - Mining Degree (Essential)
  • 3-4 years as a Open Pit Mine Planning Engineer (Essential)
  • Strong communication, mentoring and leadership abilities
  • Currently in a Mine Planning role
  • Short term planning and development
  • Mine scheduling experience of at least three years
